Mary Bessone
Mary is an Associate with Cuddy & McCarthy, LLP. Mary received her B.A. from DePaul University in 2012 and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2018. Mary spent four years at a small firm in Chicago practicing in the areas of criminal defense and civil rights where she represented clients in civil and criminal matters through appeals and post-conviction proceedings, in both state and federal court.
Mary grew up in New Mexico and moved home to Santa Fe in 2024. After passing the New Mexico Bar, she joined the Cuddy & McCarthy team in 2025. At Cuddy & McCarthy, Mary primarily works in the areas of General Civil Litigation, Insurance Law, and Education Law and Public Sector Representation.
