Carl J. Waldhart

Carl Waldhart is a senior associate with Cuddy & McCarthy, LLP, where he has practiced since August 2022. Before joining the firm, he was an associate with the Hatcher Law Group in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Mr. Waldhart has a broad civil litigation background, with experience in both trial and appellate advocacy, including cases involving novel and precedential questions of law. He regularly advises clients on complex regulatory matters, such as public transparency laws, civil rights issues, procurement disputes, and employment concerns.

His approach to litigation is shaped by his earlier work in community lawyering and legislative advocacy with New Mexico–based nonprofits, experiences that continue to inform his client-centered perspective.

Mr. Waldhart is licensed to practice in New Mexico and is an active member of both the New Mexico State Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Division.
