Amanda Marie García

Amanda Marie García is a born and raised true Burqueña, with strong roots in her community grown through service and dedication to New Mexico. Ms. García started her career in the legal community in 1994 as an assistant to the Honorable John J. Romero, Jr., when he was in private practice. Through her career she has held every position in a law firm from courier, legal assistant, and accounting assistant, all the way through senior litigation paralegal, office administrator, marketing manager, chief administrative officer, and executive director/chief operations officer.

Ms. García’s areas of legal background consist of: domestic relations, adoptions and guardianships, estate planning, employment defense, insurance defense, intellectual property, business litigation, and white-collar criminal defense.

Ms. García joined Cuddy McCarthy in 2020 as their Executive Director/Chief Operations Officer, and has truly found home. When she isn’t busy managing our firm, she enjoys her passion of politics, exercise and weight-lifting, and being home with her dogs Little Lady Lula Belly Tater Tot Garcia, and Joey Nerdle the Turtle Mr. Pickles the Kid Garcia. Ms. García has also been a dancer for over 40 years, where she has studied the arts of classical ballet, ballet on pointe, jazz, hip-hop, Mexican ballet folklorico, and Egyptian cabaret belly dance.
